Nessie’s birthday was fast approaching, and Wes wanted to surprise her with something special. Both were fans of the CW television series,  SMALLVILLE, so I was asked to draw a cast member from the show–either Clark, Lois or Chloe– holding up a copy of the Daily Planet with a congratulatory headline.  I chose to draw Chloe Sullivan, who is actually my favorite character on the show. I’m pleased to find out that Nessie liked the drawing, and that this birthday present was a smashing success!
